What book are you getting the part numbers from? I have a 66, and don't see why there would be a different part number.

It can be done if you use your original heads, but you will probably be disappointed. The much lower compression will kill the low end power.

Their first mistake was removing the transmission and torque converter together. The trans is removed from the bell housing, and the bell and torque converter are removed later. This is all spelled out in the service manual. The converter nose is not long enough to properly support it. I rebuild a l...
