Re: What the heck is oozing out here?

It's not any contents oozing out. It's the foam or rubber silencer/insulation melting and disintegrating. After all these years/decades, engine compartment heat has taken its toll.

One day he phoned and told me that if I wanted the '64 convertible, it was disabled at the intersection of two major freeways, with a broken driveshaft/ce...

Re: FOR SALE: 1965 Imperial AM-FM Radio

The first Imperial AM/FM radio, 1964, was a GM product made by Delco-Remy. Chrysler Corporation hitherto obtained their radios from Bendix or Motorola, but did not consider Bendix or Motorola products "good enough" for the '64 Imperial's AM/FM radio. These Delco-Remy radios have proven to be very re...

Re: FOR SALE: 1965 Imperial AM-FM Radio

1964 is one-year only, and the AM and AM-FM radios each require a different face plate. 1965 is one-year only, and the AM and AM-FM radios each require a different face plate. 1965 and 1966 AM radios are identical. The 1966 AM radio and the AM/FM radio use the SAME face plate. A 1966 AM-FM radio wil...
