Re: Wide White Wall tires
Thanks Adam. Diamondback lists 4 different white walls for my size of tire(820R15) 3 1/4, 3 1/2, 3 3/4, and 4 inch. This is the kind of thing I lose sleep over. Slave to originality aside, since the tire is going to be correct in every other way, I might as well get the whitewall right as well. I me...

Wide White Wall tires
Good morning everyone. I thought I might have asked this question before but can't find it, so I'll ask it now. Does anyone know how wide the whitewall was on the 56 from the factory? I'm going to buy a set of tires from Diamondback and they give me a choice, and for whatever reason I've chosen tire...

Re: My new Imperial
I think my saving grace will be that the current title lists the make as Imperial. When I talked with my insurance person(Hagerty), she asked if it was a Crown. I said, I'm not sure it's actually a Crown but that's a good Imperial word so you can call it that if you want. But I stressed that it isn'...

Re: My new Imperial
I need to study my punchcard some more but haven't had the time yet. I can tell you the driver's side mirror is worthless, and the passenger mirror sits up a couple inches higher. My interior code is 99, and the Chrysler people say they don't know what that means. Also the seatbelts are called out, ...

Re: My new Imperial
Thanks. It does indeed have air conditioning. And Torqueflite. It has D 2 1 in the buttons. Curious why the punchcard says Powerflite. Maybe they just didn't change the verbiage when they changed the trans. Interior is cloth. It isn't the eagle pattern, it's little rectangles lined up like tile. The...

Re: My new Imperial
Thanks Adam for fixing that. The interior is gorgeous. According to the punch card it is code 99, and it says they don't know what that means. The seller said it matches the Crown Imperial's interior, not other regular Imperials. And it has seat belts. Must have been a special order. Anyway it's rea...

Re: My new Imperial
I hope the picture shows up. It's jibberish in the preview. Yesterday my new to me 56 Imperial was delivered to my house. I bought it from a guy in Virginia, he's owned it a couple years; his buddy has owned it for 20 years. It's an excellent or better driver, runs real well, can't wait to take it o...

Re: No Name Font
Hi Adam. After sleuthing around I found the fatal error. I'm trying to right click a picture that was sent to me, and the directions say I can't use an image from my private email. So that's the problem. I may search the internet and see if I can find the image somewhere else, it really is quite fet...

Master Cylinder
Hi everyone.
What is everyone doing for dual master cylinders these days? This is for a 62 LeBaron. Also, my car has that speed control box right next to the master, and it doesn't look like anything else would fit. Any option other than removing it?
Thanks everyone.
