Up for sale is my 1963 Imperial Crown. She is a California born car that I picked up and brought to Mississippi about 5 years ago.The car is a daily driver with lots of options. These options include:
Electric trunk release, autopilot, air conditioning, automatic beam changer, electric locks, power vent windows, as well as all of the standard equipment on imperials. The air-conditioning, autopilot, electric trunk release, power vent windows all work. The automatic beam changer does not function. Electric door locks work on both rear doors. All but one of the power windows work., The passenger side rear.
Here is a list of things that has been done to the car in the past 5 years. The engine was completely rebuilt. The transmission was serviced and lots of seals were replaced.( The transmission has a very slow leak that appears to be coming from the rear.) The rear axle was cleaned, new pinion and axle shaft seals installed, and filled with high quality synthetic gear oil. The brakes were rebuilt including rebuilt brake booster and front disc brakes. The radiator was recored at the same time the engine was rebuilt. The drive shaft center support bearing was rebuilt. The ignition system was upgraded to a Mopar electronic ignition system as well as the charging system. The headlight system was beefed up using relays and automatic circuit breakers. The headlights and taillights themselves are LEDs.( Makes night time driving much easier) the fuse box was melted when I got the car so I replaced it a unit that uses blade type fuses. The steering gear was rebuilt a few years ago. The front suspension and steering links were rebuilt or replaced. The alignment has been set using radial tire specifications. The saggy old rear leaf springs were replaced with new ones from espo as well as the rear strut bars. The air conditioning blower motor was replaced about a year ago. I also added a relay for the blower motor to make it as efficient as possible. The heater control valve was rebuilt. The interior was redone about 5 years ago and has held up very nicely. The windows are tinted with a high-quality ceramic film to block out heat. the floors are extremely solid as well as the rockers. The radio was modified to be able to play USB and connect to a phone jack or iPod jack.
The driving experience for this car is amazing. The car is extremely quietand I've had to look at the oil pressure gauge to make sure the car was still running while I was in traffic. It is a very relaxing car to drive and the ride is extremely nice. I've driven this car almost every day for the past 5 years and have accumulated around 4000 miles. I prefer using Royal purple HPS due to the zinc content. She is street legal and hasn't given me any problems.
Here are the faults:
The electroluminescent lighting for the air conditioning and heating controls do not work. The clock does not work. the automatic parking brake release does not work although I do have a spare that comes with the car that is functional. There is a small amount of rust on the lower edge of the door skin. The doors themselves are very solid and the bottoms have no rust. There are a few various dings. The center of the trunk floor is rusty along with the lower edge of the trunk weather stripping lip. I have a replacement trunk floor and weatherstripping lip that is included with the car. One of the hood hinges is bad and at one time kinked the corner of the hood. The electric antenna switch does not work. I have tested it and it's just the switch, the electric motor is fine. Apparently, the passenger side front and rear door were replaced at one point and given a quick paint job which is flaking off. The passenger side rear door has a dent in it.
Overall, this is a very nice driver quality car. I am heading back to school to further my education and I really need to find the car a good home before I move. I would rather someone who appreciates it have it than me neglect itfor the next few years.
I'm asking $8000 or best offer. I'm flexible on the price as long as it goes to a good home. She has a clear title and will be available at any time to answer any questions you may have. Serious inquiries only please. I took these photos today and if you need any more I will do my best to comply. My phone number is 6012486109. Also, included with the purchase of the car are a few specialty tools. I have an alternator belt adjusting tool, power steering pump belt adjusting tool, and brake drum puller.

If you haven't yet, put it on ebay with no reserve and advertise it as such to get more attention. Like put "NO RESERVE" in your listing title on ebay. I think ebay only charges a flat fee of something around $125 to sell a call if I remember right.

I posted the car for sale on eBay today. I did put a reserve price, but it is low. Thanks for the advice. Someone is going to get a good car for a good price.
