For sale, currently in Traverse City (Suttons Bay), Michigan, being detailed and photographed. 63K miles, believed to be accurate.
Overall condition: A #2 driver (on 1-5 scale). This is not a show car - it is a driver (a very nice driver). This is the car (the model, not the car) that the "old man" featured on the Pawn Stars TV show.
Major work accomplished: transmission (727-B) overhauled, windshield replaced, dash replaced, carpet replaced, interior panels replaced by SMS in Oregon, seats re-dyed. Chrome has been re-plated. Correct 3 stripe whitewalls. Complete new exhaust system. Steering wheel rebuilt.
413 V-8 has not been rebuilt, but runs strong on highway (we drove it from New Orleans to Traverse City, Michigan at interstate speeds a couple of years ago with no issues) and does fine in 5 hour parades in hot weather at idle speeds. Water pump has been replaced.
Original exterior color gold, now black. Interior is tan. Top is black.
No A/C. Rewired under dash. Was Ziebarted when new- still there.
Power convertible top works perfectly and has covers (parade boots) for when top is down (but fiberglass side pieces are rough).
All 6 power windows work (slowly). Two rear window switches are reversed in driver master switch (up is down and down is up).
Set up for Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans (electric fuel pump, electric fan, etc.) to prevent overheating and vapor lock. Carburetor replaced (downshift linkage disconnected).
Asking $30,000.
I have a picture if I can figure out how to attach it.
