my driver door and passenger door windows stopped working. the vent door locks and rear all still work. is there a way to ck power to the motor without taking the door panel off. I think if i put a ground wire to the switch connector and power to the upside on the connector i should be able to lift the window and see if the motor is working.

Maybe you could put a voltmeter on the battery and see if things change when you attempt to operate the window? If power is going to the motor and it's stuck in some way, I would expect a voltage drop. If a wire is disconnected somewhere then it should remain very steady I would think. Assuming the car is turned off so the alternator isn't involved.
