I am trying to find out what a 59 Imperial might be worth restored and unrestored. I am attaching photos of the car as it is today. Thank you for the help. I am deciding whether to buy this car and invest in restoring it.

Well few things going for it and a few things going against it.
For it:
- Southampton model is desirable.
- It looks to be in great shape!
- 59 is a desirable year with a unique grill.
Against it:
- It's a 4 door - they just don't bring as much money as the 2 door models.
- Looks like it has bench seats instead of the fun swivel bucket seats.
- Hardtop - convertible brings a LOT more.
- No AC - doesn't look like it has AC... if it does, move this to the above list.

I have two of them, so here goes: trying to make a buck on a 59 Imperial is foolhardy. I have owned three so far, have two of them right now. In big round figures, you can buy one needing restoration for $5000 You will spend $20-25K on it, and if you are lucky you can get maybe 17-18 out of it.
Now if you really love them like me it is well worth it!\
The doors assessment is true for most cars, but I have not found it to be true of the 59 Imp. If I were to guess, the four door hardtop seems to be most in demand, if it has the stainless roof panel and the Landau top The four door sedan shown here is rare, only 1345 made and as best I can count, including mine there are only 17 left in the world, with several of them in scrap yards.
I had one back when they were new, and once you drive one you will be in love as well!

I forgot to add, the custom is bottom of the line, followed by the Crown (both of those above) then the Le Baron. Most crowns were fully optioned to be more than the La Baron. The bottom one above has air ride assist rear, dual AC, swivel seats, and most every option available.

This one comes with "living finish" if you can get the drift:

It just needs a bit of wax. Not even a wash... just wax it as-is and I'm sure it will look like-new all over again!
