Hello guy's,
thanks for the add. I'm new in this group.
My name is Bastian Stummeyer and I am from Germany.
My car is an 1952 Chrysler Imperial Hardtop Coupe C-54 Newport with 331Hemi.
I brought him in Sept 2020 from an old man here in Germany. He imported the Chrysler in February 2019 from California. The Chrysler was in California even in one family.
I have a little bit of work to do. New exhaust is done. A bit of rust is done. Just i have to change the complete electric, and the power steering gear box. That is the biggest problem here in Germany to find the pieces for it.
I hope you can understand my not perfect English. Have all a better year in 2021 since 2020. 💪😎👍

Hello Stummy and welcome to the forum!

Your car is beautiful, you should be very proud of it! And your english is great as a second language.

I have an uncle in Germany who loves it there and refuses to come back to the states. :)

If you are looking for a specific part, please let us all know, someone here may be able to help locate it.

what a beauty! I see you are apparently from Ahaus, North-Rhine-Westphalia, I lived in Germany for 13 years and your English is just fine, far better than my German!

I always got angry when someone mentions Imperial and Newport in the same sentence, I have owned both! Later Imperial was the top of the line, and the Newport was the stripped down bottom of the line.

But the model is a Imperial 2dr Hardtop Newport, or not?

Of course you are correct, I was not clear. Only if you are old can you see the connections and how things changed over time.
