Antique Upholstery

Post by DonFromTexas »

I want way out of my way in restoring a 59 Southampton, to include ORIGINAL seat upholstery. It is coming along nicely, just got this from the shop:

This vinyl drove him nuts. It is WAY thicker and harder stuff than todays stuff. My other 59 sedan has "broadcloth" upholstery, whatever that means, but will be far easier to do the seats - and door panels.

And it matches the door panels also.

"Ruby" has an entirely different dress to contend with to make it original.
