Hi everyone.
Today at work I was showing a "Chrysler enthusiast" a picture of my recently acquired 62 LeBaron. He asked what motor it had. I said a 413. He said oh that's a Max Wedge. I said I didn't think it was but I didn't know. He was sure that it was. I think he was just thinking of a popular phrase.
So, the question is, are all 413s a Max Wedge? I thought it was the heads that made it that. Any ideas?
Thanks everyone.

Re: What exactly is my engine
I do not believe you have a max wedge engine as those were not put in Imperials as far as I'm aware. You simply have a "wedge" engine. The max wedge was a performance version of the wedge that produced quite a bit more HP. I believe the max version had dual quad carbs with dual air breathers, which is usually a dead giveaway.

Hm, that would look pretty cool in there...
