I have found some material I want to use to reupholster my seats in my 1961 Imperial. Does anyone know what volume of yardage of cloth and vinyl I need to order for the front and rear seats?

Are you planning to do it all yourself? If not and you are going to use a shop somewhere, you might want to ask them how much they need. They may need a certain amount of extra in case of mistakes.

I had bought my material from Original Auto Interiors 16 years ago and the cloth was 6 yards. My upolsterer found the vinyl material at the time. My 61 is a Custom model with cloth/vinyl seats and door panels.

SMS bought them.... the 60 two door hard top seat inserts are fairly big, he said 5.5 yards.
you can see the inserts are pretty big on the 60.

SMS was very responsive and is sending me a price quote and sample. I expect 80$ per yard, a yard is 3 feet by 56 inches. So its like one seat per yard plus some extra.

i expected 80$ a yard... was quoted 120$ a yard for sales price.. normal is 150$ yoinks!
The issue also is it doesnt match factory.. I think I could have it made(little crowns sewn) or printed.
