1963 Imperial Crown daily driver
1963 Imperial Crown daily driver
Selling my 1963 Crown daily driver. this is an AC and auto pilot equipped car, both work. The 413 was rebuilt in 2016 and runs flawlessly. I have upgraded to electronic ignition, electronic voltage regulator, beefed up headlight wiring harness with LED headlights, and front disc brakes. The center of the trunk floor, trunk lip and the lower door skin has rust. The car is very solid. It is a California car. The interior was redone in 2015. The steering box and front suspension have been completely rebuilt. The radiator was recored. There is a minor leak in the transmission. The car has the sport deck option with electric trunk release. I also have the replacement trunk floor and trunk lip as well as a couple of specialty tools for the Imperial included with the purchase. There is a dent in the passenger side rear door. All but one of the electric windows works ( pass rear). She even has electric vent windows. This car has been my daily driver for the past 4 years. It is very reliable and fun to drive.
There is much more information on the car, but I will send all of the details to serious buyers. I am asking $8500 or best offer. I am moving in a few months and want to find this car a good home. Here are a couple of pictures just to give you an idea. If you are interested, please call me anytime at 6012486109. I will give you a much more complete detailed description as well as any pictures you want. Located in Southwest Mississippi.

Any takers? I'm flexible on price. Lots of work has been done to this Imperial.

That is one heck of a buy for someone who wants to drive instead of tinker. Hard to believe it has not gone yet.
Re: 1963 Imperial Crown daily driver
Just to make it clear, the car does need work. The drivers side Hood hinge is messed up, the electroluminescent panel for the air conditioning buttons does not illuminate, the passenger side rear door has a dent in it and had a quick respray that is flaking off on the passenger side doors, but the car is overall mechanically sound and very solid.

I think some clearer pictures might help. The ones you posted look like you have some serious finger smudges on your camera lens that need cleaned off.
Re: 1963 Imperial Crown daily driver
I'll snap some clearer pictures later today.
