66 Brake Light part number?

Anyone know the modern equivalent for the part number of the bulb used in the backup lights on a 66 Imp? Seems that mine is missing a bulb and the other side has a bulb with a 1079 number on it, but I can't seem to find that bulb number anywhere.

Nevermind - it looks like the bulb number is 1073. The ink on the bulb I have is smeared making it look like a 9. So I'm all good now.. got some 1073 LED bulbs on the way.

Probably could, but doubt it with LED bulbs. Is there a problem with non-brass?

Maybe better conductor, easier to remove if bulb breaks .

Got a ton of LED's - some are a bright white, some a yellow white. Will try them out and see which I like more - I'm guessing the bright white. One thing is for sure, I will not be running out of these bulbs anytime soon!!

Don't be, these things are cheap They were basically $2 each if you buy them in bulk. Figure I'm set for life now.
